This policy explains how AccuScore Event Review Desk, the Varsity Spirit-branded coach check-in and review service at accuscorecheckin.com, handles information collected through this website and its optional SMS review notifications.
Information we collect
We collect your name, email address, phone number, program and team names, account role and team memberships. We also collect event and division information, review requests, acknowledgments, uploaded scoresheets, queue activity, staff review decisions and notes, and any optional schedule details you provide. Account credentials are stored as password hashes, rather than readable passwords.
When you choose SMS notifications, we record your phone number, consent with the review submission, and message history, including send status and provider identifiers. Sign-in sessions and limited technical records support account security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
How we use information
We use this information to create and approve coach accounts, match authorized coaches to event teams, process review requests, manage queues, display review outcomes, protect the service, and provide support. Email supports account administration and password resets. Optional SMS messages provide updates about your submitted reviews.
SMS privacy
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Mobile information and SMS consent are not shared with affiliates, lead generators or other third parties for their marketing or promotional use. SMS consent applies only to AccuScore review notifications and is not transferable to another messaging program.
Access and service providers
Authorized event staff and account administrators can access information needed to manage accounts and reviews. We use service providers for hosting, data and file storage, email delivery and SMS delivery, including Twilio for texts and Resend for email. These providers process the information needed to deliver and support the service; this operational processing does not authorize marketing use of SMS consent. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud or protect the service.
Your private ticket link allows anyone who has it to see that ticket’s queue status and review results. Keep this link private. Scoresheet access is restricted separately.
Your choices
SMS consent is optional and is collected through a separate, unchecked checkbox when you submit a review. You can use AccuScore without choosing texts. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS, or HELP for assistance. You can also contact us for help with your account, information corrections, privacy requests or deletion requests.
Storage and security
We retain account, review, consent and delivery records to operate the service, support event administration, resolve issues and meet applicable obligations. Contact us about deleting information; some records may need to be retained for these purposes. We use access controls, password hashing and protected sessions to help safeguard information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
